Celebrate - it's our birthday!
As we enter 2010, we have been celebrating our 15th anniversary.
Assessment North East Ltd was registered in January 1995, and
started trading on 1st April 1995, with just 2 members of staff.
The sole purpose of the business was to arrange Investors in People
assessments. After a couple of successful years, we began providing
Investors in People as a whole process: contact, assessment,
recognition, review.
More than 13,000 invoices later, Assessment North East has
prospered and grown in size to 18 employees. Alongside Investors in
People, we also deliver a number of external accreditations:
Lexcel, ILM, SFEDI, and we are soon to add C2E Diversity Assured to
our services. Assessment North East strive to provide services that
allow organisations in the North East to develop, and utilise their
best asset - their people.
Jules Preston, Chairman of Assessment North East has commented:
"When Assessment North East was formed in 1995 we had one product
and one task; to promote Investors in People as a business
development tool. We have since developed a portfolio of offerings
including Lexcel (for the legal sector), ISO services and some
management development tools. I am proud to say that all of this
has been achieved, but importantly, that original purpose for being
established continues to be our core business with 40% of employees
in the North East working with Investors in People. Our workforce
and our assessors and advisors have achieved this; my thanks to
them!"
