National contract won to raise the quality of business advice
Ascend, Assessment North East's Leadership and Management
Development Centre and a SFEDI Centre of Excellence, has been
successful in winning a national contract to assess Construction
Skills Sector Business Advisors against SFEDI standards.
Key feedback comments from the Sector Skills Council included
the high level of support on offer to those being assessed and the
mentoring, as opposed to auditing, role the Assessors play.
- Do you provide business advice, learning, support or help to
organisations?
- Do you work with pre start up, start ups or existing
businesses?
If so, are you able to display the SFEDI kitemark of good
practice that demonstrates you meet SFEDI's very stringent
standards and principles?
SFEDI accreditation proves to the organisations that you work
for and the clients that you help. That you have achieved a
nationally recognised standard of excellence in advising
businesses.
You may be aware that publicly funded contracts for providing
support to small businesses usually specify that advisers, coaches,
mentors and information providers must have a certificate to show
that they meet the SFEDI Business Support standards.
We can help you achieve SFEDI accreditation that would give you that tick
in the box.
