New funding opportunity for SMEs to help grow their businesses
The funding is aimed at SMEs in the North East region who are
seeking to grow in both staff number and or turnover in the next
three years. It can be used to support the costs of
undertaking a wide variety of development projects and will
contribute 40%, up to a maximum of £1400.
"There has been an absence of funding opportunities for
development projects in the North East over the last few years, so
the release of this funding by NBSL is very welcome. We know
from our clients' experience a funding contribution can be the
difference between a project moving ahead or not, so it is very
welcome indeed. It can be used for a wide variety of
projects, such as developing quality management systems, HR
strategy development, business expansion planning and strategic
development." says John Raine, Business Development Manager at
Assessment North East.
"As ever there are criteria to meet and things that can't be
funded, especially as this is aimed at organisations with a
business to business client base. So the best thing to do is
to contact us to have a chat. Certainly a number of our
programmes can be funded."
