SFEDI Re-approval
As of January 2010, maintaining 'Gold' status on the SFEDI
National Directory has become more accessible. This is done through
a process of 'Re-approval' and is primarily concerned with Contnued
Professional Development (CPD). It no longer requires individuals
to meet with, and be observed by, a SFEDI Assessor.
As a SFEDI Centre of Excellence, Assessment North East can
provide the SFEDI Re-approval service to any individual that holds
'Gold' status. We can also provide Re-approval sevices for a group
of individuals.
The process
To get your Re-approval under way, you first need to submit a Candidate
Registration Form. Assessment North East will then
allocate an Assessor relevant to your area of expertise, who will
contact you to discuss what supporting documents will be
necessary.
Supporting documents are likely to include:
- Completed SFEDI Review application form
- Current job description
- Current CV
- CPD plan for the next 1 - 2 years
- Supporting evidence such as:
- Performance feedback
- Reflective statements
- Workshop notes
- CPD overview linked to evidence submitted

The whole process should take less than 4 weeks from the
submission of your SFEDI Review application form and supporting
documents. This assumes that all necessary documents and supporting
evidence are included with the application.
